Chelsea strike £5m 'gentleman's agreement' with Napoli for Maurizio Sarri to become new boss after talks

Chelsea have 'struck a gentleman's agreement' worth £5million with Maurizio Sarri for him to become their new manager.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian held talks with officials from both Chelsea and former club Napoli in London on Friday, where an agreement was reached for the Premier League side to relieve him of his current deal in Italy.

The Italian newspaper claim Sarri will be handed a three-year contract that will see him earn €6m (£5.3m) a season in England.
